Team Draupnir consists of us at the company and individuals who help us with direct testing and development of equipment, as well as with internet presence, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms. They help us by facilitating business connections with new customers.

John Ragnvald Ness
Profession:
Physical Education Teacher and B-Trainer in Harness Racing
Equine Experience:
Since 1993, John Ragnvald has worked professionally with horses. He has been involved in breeding, training, and riding both Icelandic horses and trotters. As a harness racing trainer, he has also had great success with several horses, ranking among the best in Norway and Scandinavia.

Tonje Lund Ness
Profession:
Veterinarian and Complementary Therapist for Horses
Equine Experience:
Tonje has had Icelandic horses since 1976 and currently keeps two Icelandic horses at her home in Suldal, which she uses as luxury riding horses. Earlier in life, she also traveled extensively as a competitive rider.

Vebjørn Ness
Profession:
Economics Student at NHH (Norwegian School of Economics)
Equine Experience:
Vebjørn is involved in startin up and training young horses at the family farm in Suldal.

Vibeke Thoresen
Profession:
Riding Instructor and Horse Trainer
Equine Experience:
In 2020, I completed my bachelor’s degree as a riding instructor at Hólar University, and I am now studying for a master’s in equine science. I currently work with horses, focusing on training, starting up, and selling horses, and I also teach frequently in North America.
Responsibilities in the Team:
I assist people with finding the right saddle, maintain close communication with students training to become riding instructors, and share content on Draupnir’s social media platforms.

Miriam Fossan Knudsen
Profession:
Geodata Administrator
Equine Experience:
I grew up with horses and have actively competed in riding since 2009. I now do some hobby breeding, break in horses myself, and compete in a few shows during the year. I am also an active contributor to the local horse association Villingur, where I have served on the board since around 2014.
Responsibilities in the Team:
I am primarily responsible for the website, and together with Vibeke and Kari, I work on social media.

Kari Egelandsdal
Profession:
Teacher at Primary School
Equine Experience:
I’ve worked with horses since I was 13 years old. Since then, I’ve been a substitute worker, guide, riding instructor, farrier, and horse trainer alongside other tasks. I also worked for a year full-time at Ågreneset in Grimstad, doing stable work, starting up, and training horses. I am a certified B-Instructor through NIHF and have competed at the national team level earlier in life. I now have a luxury riding horse, which occasionally participates in small competitions.
Responsibilities in the Team:
I work with social media and content creation, I also love attending stands and engaging with customers.

Nina Mollestad
Profession:
Nurse and Saddle Fitter
Equine Experience:
I have a degree in Holistic Horse Therapy from SSHH (2012) and also CranioSacral Therapy for horses.
I graduated as a Saddle Fitter from The Society of Master Saddlers in the U.S. (2013).
Some time ago, I ran a small riding school with Icelandic horses and did some breeding.
Responsibilities in the Team:
I assist with finding the right saddle for both horse and rider, adjusting the saddle with pads and/or wool.
As horses develop, it is important to follow up on the saddle fit. I can help with this.
I travel to stables to check and adjust saddles on-site, and I can also assist with online fitting if needed. I am also involved in product development.
